Mi fydd Llywodraeth Cymru a Llywodraeth DU yn lansio ap COVID-19 y GIG ar y 24 o Fedi. Mae ap COVID-19 y GIG yn rhan bwysig o'n rhaglen Profi Olrhain Diogelu i reoli lledaeniad COVID-19.
Po fwyaf o bobl sy'n defnyddio'r ap, po fwyaf ein siawns o leihau lledaeniad y feirws.
Bydd yr ap yn:
Beth fydd yr ap yn ei gynnig i unigolion?
Yr ap yw’r ffordd gyflymaf i ddefnyddwyr weld a ydynt mewn perygl o gael y coronafeirws. Bydd yn galluogi defnyddwyr (gyda ffôn clyfar cydnaws) i wirio symptomau, archebu profion a chael canlyniadau a chyngor. Bydd hefyd yn darparu rhybuddion i hunanynysu os yw defnyddiwr wedi bod mewn cysylltiad agos ag achos sydd wedi’i gadarnhau, a bydd ganddo system ‘rhybuddio’ a fydd yn dangos y lefel risg bresennol i ddefnyddwyr yn ei ardal. Bydd yr ap ar gael i bobl ei lwytho i lawr o 24 Medi ymlaen.
Beth fydd yr ap yn ei gynnig i fusnesau?
Mae nodwedd ‘mewngofnodi’ ar yr ap a fydd yn galluogi busnesau i gofrestru am god QR swyddogol. Mae hwn yn caniatáu i ddefnyddwyr ap fewngofnodi drwy sganio’r cod. Mae’r nodwedd hon yn caniatáu i fusnesau a defnyddwyr fod yn gwbl ddienw wrth olrhain achosion o’r coronafeirws. Mae’n gyflym, yn syml ac yn ddiogel, a bydd yn helpu swyddogion olrhain cysylltiadau i gysylltu â defnyddwyr yn gyflym os oes angen. Nid yw hyn yn disodli’r gofyniad cyfreithiol i fusnesau risg uchel penodol yng Nghymru gasglu gwybodaeth gan gwsmeriaid, staff ac ymwelwyr. Bydd dal angen i ddefnyddwyr ap a’r rheini nad ydynt yn defnyddio’r ap roi eu manylion cyswllt. Rydym ni’n rhannu’r dyddiad lansio gyda chi er mwyn rhoi amser i chi baratoi. Mae’n hanfodol bod cynifer o bobl â phosib yn llwytho’r ap i lawr ac yn ei ddefnyddio er mwyn iddo weithio’n effeithiol, felly mae gwir angen eich cefnogaeth arnom.
Rydym yn gofyn i chi rannu y canlynol ar eich sianeli Cymdeithasol, e-gylchlythyr a drwy eich rhydweithiau a rhanddeiliaid
Y prif neges yw :
Er mwyn eich helpu i gyfleu pwysigrwydd yr ap newydd, rydym ni wedi datblygu amrywiaeth lawn o ddeunyddiau gan gynnwys cynnwys ar y cyfryngau cymdeithasol, fideos sy’n esbonio ac asedau eraill. Mae modd eu llwytho i lawr o fan hyn:
Rydym wedi creu banc o adnoddau i chi ddefnyddio ar eich sianeli a drwy eich rhwydweithiau i gefnogi y rhaglen Profi, o
Olrhain, Diogelu. Mae’n cynnwys negeseuon rhwydweithiau cymdeithasol, posteri amlieithog, lluniau a fideos a chyngor i fusnesau.

On the 24th of September, Welsh Government and UK Government will be launching the NHS COVID-19 app across England and Wales. The NHS COVID-19 app is an important part of our Test, Trace, Protect programme to control the spread of Covid-19.
The more people who use the app the greater our chances of reducing the spread of the virus.
The app will:
What will the app do for individuals?
The app is the fastest way for users to see if they are at risk from coronavirus. It will enable users (with a compatible smart phone) to check symptoms, order tests and receive results and advice. It will also provide alerts to self-isolate if a user has been in close contact with a confirmed case and will have an ‘alert’ system which will show users the current risk level in their area. The app will be available for people to download from 24 September.
What will the app do for businesses?
There is a ‘check-in’ feature which will allow businesses to register for an official QR code, allowing app users to check-in by scanning the code. This feature allows complete anonymity for both businesses and users when tracing cases of coronavirus. It is quick, simple and secure and will help contract tracers to get in touch with users quickly if necessary. This doesn’t replace the legal requirement for certain high risk businesses in Wales to collect information from customers, staff and visitors. App and non-app users will still need to give their contact details.
We’re sharing the launch date of 24 September to give businesses time to prepare. It’s essential that as many people as possible download and use the app for it to work effectively, so we really need your support.
We would ask you to share information through your social channels, newsletters and through your networks and stakeholders
The key messages are :
To help you communicate about the importance of the new app, we’ve developed a full range of materials including social media content, explainer videos, and other assets.
